This video is soooo much better than the others :P Okay, before you watch it, I must tell you that I tried a new style on this one. I used softer, more airy guitar music instead of today's more heavy style. I must warn you, though, that the first song unfortunately stops short just at the end. I made this entire video before noticing that minor complication, and I loved the song so much with the vid that I didn't want to change it. Despite obvious shortcomings, I think the song really works with the video and it (for the most part) turned out wonderfully! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do... :DDD

Jose Ferrer, Mala Powers, and William Prince in the 1950 version of Cyrano De Bergerac. This is the humorous and beautiful balcony scene.

I close my eyes and I smile Knowing that everything is alright To the core Close that door Is this happening? My breathe is on your hair I'm unaware That you opened the blinds and let the city in God, you held my hand As we stand Taking in everything. And I knew it from the start So my arms are open wide Your head is on my stomach And we're trying so hard not to fall asleep But Here we are On this 18th floor balcony... we're both flying away. We talked about mom's and dad's About family's pasts Getting to know where we came from Our hearts were on display For all to see I can't believe this is happening. I raised my hand as if to show you I was yours That I was so yours for the taking I'm still so your for the taking That's when I felt the wind pick up I grabbed the rail while choking up These words to say and then you kissed me... I knew from the start So my arms are open wide And your head is on my stomach And we're trying so hard not to fall asleep But here we are On this 18th floor balcony... I knew from the start So my arms are open wide Your head is on my stomach And we're trying so hard not to fall asleep Here we are On this 18th floor balcony... we're both flying away. And I'll try to sleep to keep you in my dreams so I can bring you home with me and I'll try to sleep and you keeping you in my...dreams I knew it from the start My arms are open wide Your head is on my stomach We're not going to sleep But here we are On this 18th floor balcony...we're both.. flying away

Eddie Cochran - Sittin' in the Balcony Though Eddie Cochran was only twenty-one when he died, he left a lasting mark as a rock and roll pioneer. Cochran zeroed in on teenage angst and desire with such classics as "C'mon Everybody," "Something Else," "Twenty Flight Rock" and "Summertime Blues." A flashy stage dresser with a tough-sounding voice, Cochran epitomized the sound and the stance of the Fifties rebel rocker.

A man claimed he was defending himself from an inmate behind bars, but video from inside the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh shows a different story. (No Sound)

BALCONYTV.COM 17/03/2007 PRESENTED BY PAULINE FREEMAN Saint Patrick's Day (Irish: Lá 'le Pádraig or Lá Fhéile Pádraig), colloquially Paddy's Day or St. Patty's Day, is the feast day which annually celebrates Saint Patrick (373-493), the patron saint of Ireland, on March 17. It is the Irish national holiday and one of the public holidays in the Republic of Ireland (a bank holiday in Northern Ireland); the overseas territory of Montserrat; and the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. In the United States, Australia, and rest of Canada it is widely celebrated, although not an official holiday. It became a feast day in the universal church due to the influence of the Waterford-born Franciscan scholar Luke Wadding, as a member of the commission for the reform of the Breviary [1] in the early part of the 17th century. A common practice among gardeners is to plant at least one potato, no matter how cold the weather, on St. Patrick's Day. This is done in order to ensure a good harvest for the coming year. Some speculate that this may have arisen from the Irish Potato Famine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Patricks%27s_Day_Parade Tune in tomorrow!!!

James O' Toole is a well known Dublin street musician who has decided to start working on getting his numerous original songs out to other musicians and the public. James was born in Dublin's Fatima Mansions flats complex. James has been writing songs for many years and has taught himself to play numerous instruments. "Music has been and will always be my rope if i ever feel like i'm going under, i feel like i've built up so much anger and fire in my belly because of the state of the world, maybe because of where i grew up, but music is the soothing balm, it's my release valve, it stops me from exploding!...in the last year i've really felt that i've been discovering my voice gaining the range i needed to express myself completely..." One year ago today, mioune and I (beastboy) uploaded our first duet ^^ 35 duets later we thought it would be a good idea to remake our first duet :p This song counts so much for us and we decided to dub the entire scene of the song just for fun . So here is the french version of the song "A Whole New World" from Aladdin sung and dubbed by us! We hope you'll like it ^^ Thanks to everyone for all your comments, ratings, subsriptions and support :p - Lyrics - - Princesse Jasmine ? - Non ! - Hmmm... Pas si étrange que ça... Bonne nuit, mon tendre Prince... - Dors bien, Princesse...

this is day 2 of "the balcony" the dancers start to interpret the meaning of the dance and really start to dance it. There is talking in between that is good but a singing and holiday confusion that you can fast forward thru.

Angela Gheorghiu and Roberto Alagna perform the romantic and characteristic balcony scene ("O nuit divine!... Conducted by Michel Plasson. (Orange, 2002)
